Forbidden Super Hero - $7,863/$24,493 (including previews) (opening day actual)
Disconnect - $7,219 (opening day actual)

Good opening day for The Wolverine. It does beat X-Men Origins: Wolverine's opening day but that opened on a weekday during the school year. Now that school is out, weekdays will be much stronger. It should scratch 1.5m in 4 days beating X-Men Origins: Wolverine's 1.1m 5-day opening weekend.

Monsters University was being targeted by Doraemon and it held up alright in 2nd. More theaters have begun to switch over to 2D this weekend, which has left it with heavier drops. It will pass 8m this weekend and possibly 8.5m if it has a big increase this weekend. 10m is still happening.

Pacific Rim had huge competition in week 2, going up against Wolverine but it had a good hold. It will clear 3m after this weekend and 4m should happen before its taken out of theaters.

SDU: Sex Duties Unit enlarged its screen count today with its official drop date. It racked up nearly $400,000 in previews and should be able to hit 1m by Sunday even with dreadful word of mouth and previews offloading demand this weekend.

Fantastic opening day for Doraemon: Nobita's Secret Gadget Museum. It is ahead of last year's Doraemon by 25%. Opening weekend should be around $210,000. That would make it the highest Doraemon film in 5 years.

Despicable Me 2 is strutting around now. Excellent hold. It will pass 3.5m although I think its chances of 4m are still not good with The Smurfs 2 locking down the screens next weekend.

Turbo had an average hold. $500,000 will happen by Sunday.

Tales from the Dark Part 1 is not holding well but it should still be enough for it pass 1m.

Tiny Times opened with a miniscule sum.

Blind Detective is fading but will reach 1.9m before leaving theaters. 2m is not happening.
